PIATTINI
visual identity // branding
Since opening in 2001 on historic Newbury Street, in the heart of Boston’s Back Bay, Piattini has established itself as a lasting gathering place for locals and visitors alike, where warm hospitality meets authentic, shareable Italian cuisine.
The new visual identity reinterprets Back Bay’s distinctive architecture. Facades, corners, and urban rhythms become graphic elements that evoke a sense of place and belonging. Illustrations inspired by Newbury Street connect the restaurant to the city’s collective memory, positioning Piattini not only as a dining destination, but as part of Boston’s everyday life.
This dialogue between city and brand results in a timeless visual narrative — an identity grounded in tradition and community, much like Piattini itself, which for over two decades has been woven into the fabric of the neighborhood.
